Mediation is a process in which an impartial, neutral third-person helps two or more parties resolve their dispute or conflict. As mediators, Cal and Grady will help disputants reach resolution of their problems and will also assist the parties in discussing and resolving their differences. (more…)

Columbia attorney J. Calhoun Watson will be installed as a member of the South Carolina Bar Board of Governors on Thursday, May 14, during the Bar’s House of Delegates meeting at the Poinsett Club in Greenville.
Watson is a partner in the Columbia law firm of Sowell Gray Stepp & Laffitte, LLC, practicing in the areas of commercial litigation, class actions and professional negligence. He was previously a clerk to the Hon. Robert F. Chapman, Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He is admitted to practice before the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
